October 25-27, 2024 sees the return of HSITP’S most popular show – the “HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR” !!!!
The current class count and updated schedule for the 2024 HSITP “HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR” Oct 25-27 show at Grand Oaks is now posted at horseshowtime.com. Over 225 horses in attendance and we are in perment stabling this year, thanks to new stalls built by The Grand Oaks Resort!!!
We will be able to open Thursday afternoon for schooling and hold classes on Friday much like we did for the June Battle of the barns show….this will give some of our riders another “third day” of showing that they may need to qualify for year end award.
New this year will be the “Monster Mini Prix” up on the green under the lights ….Jeanne and her talented husband Page are putting the final touches on their 10 jump custom “Horseless Horse Show” stadium jumps so soon you’ll see Flamingos, Dolphins, Lady Bugs, Corgis, Sailboats and other beautiful ‘People Sized” stadium jumps –!! So start teaching your Best Barn Dog to jump for the First Annual Halloween Canine Derby, and sharpen those Stick Horse skills….we’ll have Young Rider classes and competition for the Parents as well as well as a great prize for the barn with the most points over fences!!!!
Activities will include the ever popular Friday late afternoon “Halloween Pleasure ” Classes by age group which should be ridden in costume!! 3-4 age groups with Spooky prizes! You can ride all weekend in your costume and we’ll have a costume portion of the Walk Division on Saturday for the wee ones…The Hunter Spooktacular will take place in the Covered on Saturday morning too with a cash prize for the top 4 riders…We have 200 Permanent stalls to work with so get your entries in when the prize list drops so you don’t get left out. Credit card info will be required at this show to hold stabling, and atabling is non refundable after the pre entry deadline.
