Welcome to the new website for Horse Shows in the Park and Hunt Country Horse Shows!!
We are looking forward to another great show year! All shows will count for the year end award, and the date of the banquet will be Saturday evening at The Grand Oaks.
The class schedules and show information have been posted on the Calendar page – which is your “go-to” spot for current info on each show… in addition to the Horse Shows In The Park Facebook page.

We will be posting and asking for participation this year in sponsorship of our year end awards for each division. In an effort to keep it reasonable and fun – sponsorships start for as little as $100!! Sponsorship can be for the division of your choice which will enable recognition on the prize list, in Facebook posts, emails and announcements during the show., Name your division!!! eg; The Dreamstone Farm Modified Hunter … We’ll have a special page for our sponsorships, list hot links, hang banners and more!!!
We’ve improved the on-line registration form and it should automatically confirm your entry has been sent when you’ve filled out the form ..The form itself has been streamlined for even faster entry too!
Some changes to the class schedule from this last show year include:
The 3′ and 2’6″ Children and Adult divisions have been split into Children /(under 18) and Adult (18 and over)
Children’s Ponies remain split sm/med and large but if combined for a show, the results will continue to be reported on the separate divisions for year end.
Lots of new USHJA Medal, Hunter and Jumper Opportunities. Complete the $35 USHJA membership so your points count for USHJA year end awards as well as HSITP!!!
Championship class eligibility standards have been introduced. More info on this in the class specs PDF.
There will be an additional year end award from USHJA for the Affiliate Equitation Medals…more info in class specs
The previous Academy W/T/C division has been renamed Pre-novice
W/T Crossrails is now just that, no more Academy title confusing everyone!!
New USHJA Equitation Medal Flat class for those who haven’t jumped over 18″
Lots of new jumper opportunities…and we’ll see more of those as entries grow in that arena so that our 3′ horses and higher can be split into the new arena. For the January show we’ll remain in the current Jumper arena up on the hill but as entries grow after HITS, we’ll probably see some opportunities to split and move to the new arena…for now we are using it for our hunter divisions, so we don’t have to hike over to the grass…
