2025 HSITP Show Dates & Locations: 2025 HSITP Show Schedule
The HSITP Grand Oaks Halloween show is a 3 day show in all arenas with schooling available on Thursdsay afternoon from 1 – 6 pm. Our annual “Halloween Spooktacular” is a hallmark ‘DO NOT MISS” show and is easily our largest show of the year. We will have 214 permanent stalls to fill at this show and will not be using temporary stabling in 2025. Classes in all arenas will be held Friday for three days of year end points and our higher fence heights will go first on Friday in the Jumper arena….and potentially throughout the weekend as we normally place the lower fence novice fence heights in their own arena at this show…. Join HSITP for their Annual “Monster Ball” and Trick or Treating under the stars in the courtyard by the Bistro… we’ll have Costumed W/T Pleasure classes by age group on Friday night along with the “Halloween Spooktacular Hunter Derbies” kicking off at 5pm in the Covered Arena..(be sure and rent a ringside table for the three days for your barn families!) .then Saturday night we’ll enjoy many classes of Halloween Costume contests by age group before galloping down the hill to the Treats and Monster Mini Prix waiting for us on the green ….There will be a prizewinning Monstrous Trainer/Barn Trick or Treating Display contest Saturday night as well!!!! Pictures from last year’s Halloween Spooktacular are down below…
The HSITP Grand Oaks shows are held at a premier equine resort faciity among 300+ rolling acres of mature Oaks -it’s a truly boutique horse show experience in the oldest traditional way…from your leisurely hack to the show ring on the bridle trails under the leafy oaks, to gathering with your barn mates in the Bistro/Pub after a great day of horse showing – returning to your cottage on the grounds or the posh RV park complete with pool and hot tub…Horse showing at the Grand Oaks just can’t be beat!!
We have access to over 200 stalls that are scattered in barns throughout the Grand Oaks property of over 300 acres. Grand Oaks has premium indoor Climate Controlled stabling (30 stalls) as well as two new premium barns – the Carriage barn overlooking the Chapel with 24 12 x 12 stalls or the Nupfeed Barn, with 32 12×12 stalls, right next to the Jumper arena. Golf carts and Cottages may be rented for the shows from Grand Oaks at 352-750-5500 ext 236. If you are unable to get in a cottage on grounds, there are many high quality hotels within 4-5 miles of the showgrounds in The Village…we’ll be updating our hotel and local area activities listing soon!! AirBNB is also a popular option for our families as well, since there are so many homes available in The Villages…
New this year for our Grand Oaks riders are more double pointed showing opportunites for year end award, no show day minimums this year and the ability to use their points won at the HSITP Canterbury show series (located in Newberry) to augment their Grand Oaks points for year end award. Year end points are generally posted within the first week after each show on the Standings page on this website. Our year end Awards Gala and Banquet will be held the first weekend of December.
HSITP can run up to 6 arenas AT GRAND OAKS depending on entries and the specific show, ,and most typically runs 4. Hunters/Equitation are in the Covered AND Hunt Country Arenas, the Novice from walk , walk trot to Short/Long Stirrups go in the Triple Crown arenas (ribbons through 10th for our Novice riders!!) and Jumpers have the huge Nupafeed arena to themselves! Over 30 divisions are offered each show with daily high points, and some shows in 2025 are 3 day shows with a full range of classes on Friday as well. This is a great show for riders and horses to develop and gain profiencies…getting well schooled for the USEF rated shows as our fences and courses are professional, competitive and offer a great preparation for larger, rated environments….here at HSITP – learn how to navigate your way through a course of beautifully appointed fences at a $20 entry fee before going to a rated show and paying $50+ per class….our HSITP riders have gone on to greatness, in the Grand Prix arena, as National Junior Hunter Champions or Equitation Finalists at Devon…we take pride in offering the highest quality unrated showing expeience that prepares our riders to progress …and we’re most proud of the family friendly showing environment that is an integral part of the HSITP showing experience— from the show office to the arena…and the wonderful Year End Awards Gala provided each year….
